Lombax letters on the robot in Into the Nexus concept art

This robot was planed for the game but never appeared. Interesting that picture is in folder Villains, not in folder Enemies, so I can assume robot should have got an important role in the story. And this is not Progbot, whos scetch lies in Enemies. But what's most interestin: look closely at the robot with metall ball - it has orange inscription written in Lombax language! Story arc with Ratchet's search for his family ended in ACIT, so how did this inscription got here? Espesially if robot evidently belongs to Vendra.

I have no idea either. But consider me interested.
I hope someone IG can indulge into this.

I asked on the IG Discord server and they said that it is just early concept art that were never in game, just "blue sky stuff". It probably was part of brainstorming early in the development.

It might not be intended to mean anything. The Lombax alphabet gets used on a lot of generic signs, even right back in ToD (eg. for nearly all the modern signs in Meridian City) at the same time it was being used as a significant indicator of the lost civilisation.

Other than Zoni script, it's the only working alphabet they have, so it gets used a lot for coded messages that are still translatable. (Although it gets used for gibberish too, moreso it the more recent games.)

Yes, this may be just letters like on the walls of Weeblesnog city, though since they are at robot who was important for the story, they may not. What is more interesting is what this robot even doing in ItN? Whatever its role, it clearly has a tangible effect on the plot. I even came to theory that there was robot instead of Neftin, whom Vendra built. If you ask me how she did it, here are some pictures, which can serve as evidence.
Nether spirits in what is similar to astronaut space suit with colors that replicate the robot:

Azeril Caverns with strange table and some robot parts lying next to it. Also big mechanism on the top right picture, with a round detail in the center:

All this may mean that originally Vendra created Nethers armor.
