• Quality Assurance Tester
Job Summary: Do you want to be paid to play video games? How about having access to unreleased games, maps, patches, and playing them before anyone else can? We are looking for several gamers who are looking to do just that! We need testers! Insomniac is looking for candidates who want to help facilitate the rapid correction of issues that negatively affect the functionality and the end consumers experience and opinion of the product- you know make the game AWESOME! Testers get to play the games to find, isolate, describe and report issues found and to verify their corrections.
Major Responsibilities:
| Find and report issues (AKA - bugs and inconsistencies).
| | Clarify issues (providing detailed information if necessary).
| | Verify the resolution of issues and seeing things through to the end of the testing process.
| | Play through the game.
| | Thoroughly test a specific feature/executing test case (Targeting Testing).
| | Assist in the generation of test cases.

Qualifications:
To perform this job satisfactorily, the following requirements are necessary:
| Previous gaming experience is a plus.
| | Have knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, and have crazy gaming skills.
| | Amazing, freakishly weird attention to detail, great verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work as member of a team.

Please Note: Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for hire. There are multiple openings for this position. Local candidates only. This is a full time TEMPORARY position with the possibility for overtime. All candidates must be willing to work 60+ hours weekly. No relocation is provided. Pay starts at $10/hr.
