The gameplay group is in search of motivated programmers to further develop our team. Gameplay programmers are responsible for the high-level runtime code that pulls everything together into a highly polished and ultimately compelling game experience. You know - the kind that blows your mind!
What you would be up to:
Programming content like enemy AI, weapons, character controls, and other functionality within an established framework.
Designing and implement modifications, reorganizations, and extensions to existing code base.
Analyzing, organizing, and optimizing code.
Fleshing out, expanding, and implementing game designs.
Providing input on game design and code architecture decisions.
Skills that we are requiring:
Strong knowledge of C and C++ programming languages.
Adaptive coding style.
Dedication towards individual and team growth.
Good people skills.
Collaborative attitude.
Good instincts for game design and fun.
Things that would rock:
Having worked on a project from beginning to end.
Avid console gamer.
Console programming experience, especially on the PS3.
Understanding of procedural, object oriented, and aspect oriented programming paradigms.

Designs and implements game systems
Determines robust, well-thought, and innovative solutions to various challenges
Produces clean, documented, and extensible code
Ensures that games continually function throughout the development cycle
Works closely with artists and designers to determine the design and scope of our games
Independently recognizes opportunities to improve games
Effectively manages time to balance requests from other depts and help with unscheduled requests.
Attend meetings involving the game's direction, fun factor, and system development
Work with lead to ensure their schedule is always as accurate and up to date as possible
Programming system design and review others
Provide mentoring/assistance to junior programmers as needed

Ammunition that you bring with you:
A Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have shipped three titles.
Extensive knowledge of C and C++ programming languages. Adaptive coding style. Visual Studio experience, LUA, XML, and Maya experience a plus.
Familiarity in assembly level programming a plus.
Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Other secret weapons:
Good instincts for game design and fun and innovative gameplay.
Strong 3D math skills.
Ability to work with schedule changes and multi-task several time intensive tasks at once.
