A boring day? Not on your life! With duties like the one’s listed below – how could you be bored? Insomniac Games is looking for a graphic artist to help out our NC office. We are hoping that you can help create art assets for user interface along with video editing which includes motion graphic for in game cut scenes, marketing or in house/external presentations, and so much more! This is how we know it won’t be boring!
What you would be doing:
•
Generate user interface prototypes
•
Create in-game HUD/UI graphics
•
Create motion graphics for cinematics, trailers, and external presentations
•
Composite, color correct, and finish game cinematics
•
Creates game logos and icons
•
Edit videos for game trailers and external presentations
•
Compose, capture, and color correct screenshots for marketing
•
Assist the marketing department with any art needs
•
Other duties may be assigned
What you bring to Insomniac Games:
•
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•
Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, After Effects, and Final Cut Pro for Mac or PC.
•
Knowledge of a 3D package a plus.
•
Strong attention to detail and foundation skills, multitasking abilities, and willingness to collaborate with other team members and groups.
Please note that this is a temporary, but benefit eligible position, located in our Durham, North Carolina studio. This position is expected to last an estimated 12-15 months, dependant on candidate and flow of work.
